Hamer Community Primary School
Thank you to those of you who came along to the Joint Hamer and Springside Harvest and Eid Assembly on Friday morning. We would also like to thank you for sending in the donations of food and money. All the monies kindly donated will be given to a local charity. We will consult with the children and let you know which charity they choose.
This week Mr Parrett Deputy Head from Kingsway Park High School visited the Year 6 children and gave them the opportunity to find out more about Kingsway Park and the opportunities that they offer students. As per previous years, we will be offering workshops/support for parents to complete High School Transition Forms ready for the next academic year. The deadline for these forms is 31 October 2012
As you know, our Reception children are all now in school on a full time basis and our Nursery transition is almost complete. On behalf of the staff in the Unit, we would like to say a big thank you to all parents/carers for working with us to ensure your child settles into school well. Forms from the Local Authority are now available for Reception places for September 2013. You will be receiving more information about how we can support you to complete your form in the following week. For your information the Local Authority deadline is 15 January 201 for Reception Places.
