Music lessons for Key Stage 2 have started. This year we are having music lessons on a Thursday only to help organise instruments and avoid too much disruption to lessons. In line with other schools we are asking that music invoices are paid IN ADVANCE, the amount is £15 up to half term and the invoices have been sent out.

Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last Friday:
Year 1: Isabelle Harden

Year 2: Terence Henry

Year 3: Toby Rahman + Niamh Poole

Year 4: Kai Amin

Year 5: Paul Tighe

Year 6: Megan Hughes

Another week of super attendance, 97% for the whole school and Reception and Year 6 with 100%.

On Friday 28 September we would like to support the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ for MacMillan Cancer Support. The school hall will open for coffee and biscuits at 9:00am and the Reception children have some nursery rhymes to sing to all of you who take part. One of our parents, Kian and Leah’s mum, is also running a coffee morning from 10:00am to support MacMillan and would love for you to join her. There are posters around school with the details if you are interested. We thought that it would be nice for the children to have this as a non uniform day too. We will send out details / text nearer the date. Please support this if you can, we all know someone touched by this dreadful illness.
