Hollingworth Business and Enterprise College
We would like to welcome everyone back after the summer and welcome to Hollingworth BEC to all new staff and pupils.
Illness: If you are ill you must report to the Pupil Reception with a note from your teacher. If it is necessary, college will contact your parents/carers. Under no circumstances must anyone leave the college premises without first checking at Pupil Reception.
Appointments: If you are leaving college for any reason, i.e. a doctor’s or a dental appointment, you must get a PINK SLIP from your Head of Year before signing out at Pupil Reception.
Mobile phones must be switched off when the first bell goes, and cannot be switched back on until you are off college premises (i.e. out of the green gates at the end of the drive). You may not check your messages, or check the time; the phone must remain out of sight throughout the day otherwise it will be confiscated. If you have your phone confiscated three times, it will not be returned to you and a parent/carer will have to come to college to collect and sign for it.
