Date published: 03 September 2012
On Thursday morning (30 August) a woman was crushed between a skip and a car on a driveway in Brookfield Drive in Littleborough.
She was pinned between the skip and a people carrier, as she was collecting a skip full of rubbish.
The 44-year-old was operating a lift mechanism and had attached the skip to lifting chains when it is thought the cab lurched forward.
She was released by firefighters.
The air ambulance was called but the woman was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital for checks by road.
