'Simply the best’, says Connections Trust

Rochdale Connections Trust showcased the hard work and talent of their clients today when they invited the Mayor Jim Gartside down to their Drake Street HQ to hand out almost 30 award-certificates. 

The showcase was all about recognising those who had successfully completed training and the mayor said that he was delighted to play a small part in this success.

Many clients received more than one award one and received well-earned applause as their certificates were handed out.

Some of the children overcame their shyness to chat to the mayor and examine his chain of office.

Jane Honeyford said that she was "amazed" at the high level of commitment and enthusiasm shown.  “Everyone just gets on so well here and I would urge anyone experiencing any of these issues to come in and chat with us,” she told Rochdale Online.
