Car crashes into wall in Rochdale

Firefighters dealt with a car fire which started after the vehicle crashed into a wall.
Crews from Rochdale and Ramsbottom fire stations were called to Owd Betts pub in Edenfield Road, Rochdale, just after 1.00pm on Thursday, August 23, after the car crashed into a dry stone wall.
One man managed to get out of the car before the fire service arrived and he was treated at the scene by fire service trauma technicians.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire which completely destroyed the car, and made the vehicle safe.
The man was not taken to hospital.
