Everyone has enjoyed the glorious weather this week. Many lessons have been planned outdoors. The new gazebo is proving to be a real asset for pupils and parents.
Reception children have enjoyed outdoor learning all week, climbing, planting, with under the tree storytime.
Year 1 have had a full size tepee on the field this week for their classroom. They have had scavenger hunts, made head dresses and played games.
Year 2 and Year 4 have had an excellent trip to Chester Zoo.
Year 3 have completed their Jubilee Garden.
Year 5 have been to St Cuthbert’s Media centre making a promotional film about our own school.
Year 6 have been developing their cycling skills on the Bikeability Course.

Thank you to everyone who attended our VIP lunch on Wednesday and Thursday. A good lunch was enjoyed by all.

A group of Year 5 children represented the school at Salford Cathedral on Wednesday where they presented a cheque for the amount raised during Lent for St Joseph’s Penny.

Year 6 pupils joined with St Patrick’s pupils for a celebration Mass at St Patrick’s church as part of their Transition to High School programme.

Next week Year 6 pupils will be on a Residential Trip to Waddow Hall at Clitheroe.
The Jubilee DISCO will be held next Thursday 31st May 6.00pm-8.00pm.
