Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) has appointed a new External Funding Officer.
Fida Hussain, 45, is said to have ‘considerable’ experience in the field and has worked for 25 years in a variety of community development and project roles.
Mr Hussain said: “I see this as a wonderful new challenge, particularly in these harsh economic times.”
Clare Tostevin Head of New Business and Regeneration for RBH, said: “Fida will maximise all possible opportunities to generate income from external funding.
“He will focus on identifying opportunities to support wider regeneration for the benefits of our tenants and neighbourhoods.”
Mr Hussain’s appointment has already proved a good move for RBH. He has secured over £48,000 from a variety of funding sources including the Aspiration Fund, BT, Bit Lottery and Jobcentre Plus.
