Falinge Park High School
Falinge Park High school is closed today (Tuesday 18 January 2011) because of a heating malfunction.
A statement on the school’s website from Headteacher Mr Lonsdale describes the closure as a “very unusual step.”
He added: “This is because the boilers have malfunctioned and are no longer heating our hot water sufficiently. This in turn presents a risk to all from potentially dangerous forms of organisms such as Legionella.”
The school will re-open when it is safe to do so.
