We Need Your Help - Student Filmmakers Search for Memories of Roch Valley High School
Students from Hollingworth Business and Enterprise College are making a "video time capsule" as a visual record of their school before it is demolished later this year. They are looking for ex-pupils and staff who might have memories to share. In particular the students would like to film interviews with individuals who have memories of the school in its early days. They are also searching for photographs of the school from around the time it was first built and in the decades since then. The school originally opened as Roch Valley High School in 1965. Following a merger with Littleborough High School it became Hollingworth High School. Ex-pupils who have photographs they are willing to lend, or who would be happy to come in to school and be interviewed on camera talking about their school days, can contact the school by telephone on 01706 641541 or by emailing teacher Janet Henry: jhenry@hollingworthbec.co.uk. Your help is very must appreciated. Thank you.
