Three taken to hospital following crash

The car was clipped by a van causing it to spin and land on the central reservation
A family have been taken to hospital following a crash on Edinburgh Way (A664), Rochdale, this lunchtime (Tuesday 11 January 2011).
The husband, wife and baby were travelling towards Rochdale in a Vauxhall Zafira when they were clipped by a van and their car spun and careered onto the central reservation.
Police attended the scene and the car was removed.
The incident happened around 12.00pm.
It is understood the family were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure and they are not thought to be suffering from any life threatening injuries.
