Man charged with arson after cars set alight

A man has been charged with arson after cars were set alight in Heywood.
More than half a dozen cars were set on fire on Kent Walk and Benmore Close, off Livsey Lane, in Heywood between 1.30am and 2.30am on Tuesday 4 January 2011.
Simon Leather, 44, formally of Berwick Close, Heywood has been charged with 7 counts of arson and will appear at Rochdale Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday 10 January 2010).
