Isabel Joy and Ahmed Butt's third child, a boy, was born at 12.38am

The first Rochdale baby of 2011 was born at the Rochdale Infirmary Maternity Unit at  12.38am this morning (1 January 2011).

Proud parents Isabel Joy and Ahmed Butt haven’t decided on a name for their boy yet.
 
The new arrival to the family, weighs 7lb 4oz, and is the couple’s third child. Yusuf, 6, and Yaseen, 2, are looking forward to meeting their brother.

Ms Joy, 29, said: “This is a very good start to the New Year. It was very painful, but also very nice.”
