Fancy dress Christmas special at Kirkway

One little elf enjoys the toys

Over 75 families joined the festive fun at Kirkway Sure Start Children’s Centre Christmas party this week.  The fancy dress Christmas theme saw a wide range of elves, Father Christmas, Mother Christmas and Christmas pudding look-a -likes. 

The party was so popular it was split into 3 events to make sure everyone had chance to play party games such as pass the parcel, musical statues, parachute games and dancing as enjoy healthy pancakes and fruit snacks.

Santa was also on hand to make sure proceedings went with an extra festive fizz.

Karen Donnelly Centre Leader said: “This was Kirkway’s first Christmas, it was nice to see such large numbers of families braving the snowy conditions to meet Father Christmas and share in this special time.”
