Hands on at Howard Street – the parents forum at Howard Street Sure Start Children’s Centre have raised £68 by raffling off two hampers of luxury Christmas items at Howard Street Nursery School Christmas Concert.
The money raised is going to be used to buy some high visibility jackets to keep the children seen and safe on the dark winter nights. This is in line with the children’s centre objective to promote safety to families.
One of the winning tickets belonged to Sarah Taylor whose daughter Sophie aged 3 took part in the concert.
Sophie’s older sister Chloe, aged 6 said: “I can’t believe we’ve won all these lovely things.”
