St Clements.
Our Christmas Fair is this Saturday 11 December, 10am-Noon admission ticket 50p (this will enter you into a free draw), there will be a variety of stalls, including chocolate and bottle tombolas, hand made cards, St Clement’s stall and the café will be serving bacon butties, toast, crumpets etc.
This Sunday is the 3rd Sunday of Advent with Sung Holy Communion at 10.30am, Bishop Mark, the Bishop of Middleton will be the celebrant and preacher, during the service our “Clemmie’s Club” for children meets in the hall.
Said Holy Communion is on Tuesday at 7.30pm and Thursday at 9.30am.
The postponed meeting of The Monday Nighters from Monday 6th December 7.30pm should be taking place this coming Monday 13th December, when the speaker will be Peter Watson 'The Origins of Place Names'. Everyone is welcome.
On sale to mark our 175th anniversary year we have a commemorative candle and a recipe book, they are priced at £2.50 each and a “St Clement’s Calendar at £4.50”.
