Gritting update

Rochdale Borough Council Snow Plough/Gritter
Pavements outside schools, doctors’ surgeries, hospitals and hospices will be gritted and cleared from lunchtime today (Tuesday 7 December 2010). Street cleaning teams from Rochdale Council’s Environmental Management service will be helping Highways teams in this exercise.
Middleton marketplace has been gritted this morning for market day.
Main town centre footpaths in Rochdale, Heywood, Middleton and Littleborough and Milnrow were gritted yesterday.
The borough’s high roads and wet spots were gritted from 4.30am.
