Bin collections update - 4pm

Rochdale Council have collected from the vast majority of streets, including Pennines collections scheduled today (Friday 3 December 2010). However there are some areas in the borough that crews have not been able to access due to conditions on the ground which make it unsafe for bin collection vehicles to access.
It was indended to attempt to make more collections tomorrow (Saturday) but the latest weather forecast has forced RMBC to cancel our plans. This is because weather conditions are not forecast to improve by tomorrow. As such, crews intend to return to areas where they have not been able to collect on Monday 6 December.
If the council have not managed to collect your rubbish, and you are able to bring your bin back onto your property please put it out again no later than 7am on Monday morning. If you're unable to bring your bin in, please continue to leave it out until it can be collected.
