Weather disrupts bin collections

Rochdale Council is collecting from bins in Heywood and Bamford but they have been unable to access some streets due to the adverse weather conditions.

The collectors have returned to Middleton where they were unable to collect from yesterday but have still been unable to collect from some areas.

The Council’s advice is if your bin hasn’t been emptied as scheduled then leave it out until further notice.

Tomorrow (Thursday 2 December 2010) bins should be put out as scheduled as the Council will make every effort to empty them. Please put your bin out for collection as scheduled no later than 7am.
