Bus operators are starting to report of changes and delays to some bus services in Greater Manchester because of the overnight snow showers.
Bus operators are starting to report of changes and delays to some bus services in Greater Manchester because of the overnight snow showers.
A number of areas of Greater Manchester have been subject to snowfall overnight.
Most main roads are being served, however buses may not be serving minor and estate roads. Passengers are therefore advised to head to main roads to catch a bus.
Rail services between Manchester and Sheffield are suspended due to snow and passengers for Sheffield are advised to travel via Leeds. Local trains from Manchester to Sheffield will terminate at Grindleford but there will be no onward bus service between Grindleford and Sheffield due to the poor road conditions.
