Community members with their local bobby

Community members have enjoyed a cuppa with their local bobby at a Middleton community centre.

Officers from Middleton Neighbourhood Policing Team were at the Tenants and Residents Base at Fern Close in Moorclose, Middleton to give community members the chance to discuss their concerns.

The event which was attended, by a number of people from the community was designed to provide the team with another way of meeting and talking to members of the community about their area and how they want to see it improved.

PCSO Domnique Grimes said: “As a Neighbourhood Policing Team we are always looking to find new ways of communicating with the residents we serve. We decided on this location as it is a place that is easily accessible for everyone and will allow us to introduce ourselves and talk in an informal setting.
