Cold Weather Clothing
Please make sure your child has a warm coat, gloves and hat for playing outside. There are a number of children complaining about being cold when they are out due to not having come to school with warm outdoor clothes.

Last Week
Thankyou to the ‘Crucial Crew’ team who taught Year 6, along with many other classes from Rochdale schools, how to deal with a number of potentially ‘risky’ situations to avoid personal danger.

Thanks also to Ian Bland, poet, who inspired all the children with his words and wit last Friday in school.

Diary Dates
School Christmas lunch for children and staff is Tuesday 7th December. If your child is on a packed lunch but you would like them to have the Christmas lunch then please send £1.70 into the school office.
Also on the 7th December, Year 5 will be travelling by coach to St Cuthbert’s RC High school to see the students performing their own special version of ‘Les Miserables’. They will be back in time for Christmas lunch.
The school Christmas Family Disco is on the evening of Tuesday 14th December 6 till 8pm with DJ Cliff ! Not to be missed !
Classes 1 and 2 will present the Christmas Nativity on the afternoon of Tuesday 14th December. 1.45pm start in the hall.

Parking and Traffic Issues
Parents and carers, please be aware of new parking restrictions in the area around school.
Children’s safety is of course paramount so please make use of the school crossing patrol where appropriate and make sure children are well supervised at all times.

Family Holidays
Thank you for only taking family holidays during school holiday time. No family holidays will be authorised during term time. If your child is off school at any time due to illness then please contact the school office first thing to let us know.
