Hopwood Hall College Higher Education Graduation Ceremony at Rochdale Town Hall 2010
Eighty students graduated from Hopwood Hall College’s higher education (HE) courses at a glittering graduation ceremony recently.
Friends and family packed out the Rochdale Town Hall to watch with pride as their loved ones graduated.
Over 300 guests were welcomed by a string quartet in the foyer, made up of graduates from the Manchester School of Music who work for Massive (the musical comedy group).
Guest Speakers included Dr Katie Milestone who is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Manchester Metropolitan University and Cheryl Eastwood Executive Director, Children’s Services Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council.
Other VIPs in attendance included Jim Dobbin MP, Simon Danzuk MP and The Mayor of Rochdale.
Derek O’Toole, Principal of Hopwood Hall College said: “I was delighted to celebrate the success of our HE students at the Graduation Ceremony and wish them all the best for the future.”
