Families make Pudsey cake

Date published: 23 November 2010

Parents, children and staff at Newbold Sure Start Children’s Centre have been on a cake crusade raising £75.50 for Children in Need.

Children worked with staff to make 26 sponge cakes throughout the two weeks leading up to Children in Need last Friday (19 November 2010).

On the day, parents and children came dressed in spots and painted Pudsey faces and helped to decorate the cakes in the shape of Pudsey bear. The families then made a donation to buy a piece of the cake.
