The theme this week was Anti Bullying and the enterprise capability was Personal Responsibility.
Many thanks to everyone who supported our Year 7 Operation Christmas Child project. We collected 75 shoe boxes which will go to Belarus and Liberia. This was a wonderful effort, far exceeding the number of boxes we expected. Thank you also to everyone in Year 9 who are currently working with Petrus, collecting Christmas gift boxes for the homeless of our community.
The Gideon’s Society visited year 7 assembly on Friday and presented all students with a copy of the New Testament and Psalms. "You have to be in to win" - well done Mrs Garvey and form 7.4 with a weekly attendance of 99%. Congratulations also to Tamika Wilson, this week’s Attendance Challenge Winner. Respect card draw winners for last half term were Sedive Wetshokonda, form 7.6 and Olivia Harrison, form 7.1. Homework club is available each lunch time at 1pm in L3 with Mrs Whitmore and Mrs Rushton.
All year groups were busy taking part in extra enterprise activities as it was Global Enterprise Week. This coincided with National Anti-Bullying week which was the theme for assemblies throughout the week.
The facilities in our Partnership Learning Centre are available for parents and for any Parish Groups who wish to produce resources for church or develop their own learning. Please speak to Louise Moore for details (01706 647761).
