Rochdale Football Club
Rochdale Football Club are in school the week beginning 15 November for a week. Your child will have received a sponsor form which needs to be returned to school by Thursday in time for the penalty shoot-out. Children will then take their sponsor forms back home for money to be collected.

Year 6 Trip
Year 6 children went on a trip to the Art Gallery in Manchester on Wednesday.

Years 1 & 2 French Club
French Club for Years 1 and 2 is on Wednesdays 3.20 – 4.15pm.

Cookery Club
Cookery Club is on Wednesdays 3.20 – 4.30pm.

Golf Club
Yrs 5/6 Golf Club is on Fridays 3.20 – 4.15pm.

Mixed Sports Club
Yrs 1, 2, 3 & 4 Mixed Sports Club is on Fridays 3.20 – 4.15pm.

New Intake Open Days
On Tuesday, 16 November parents of children coming into school next September have a chance to come and have a look round school at 2pm.

School Calendar
You may have seen a draft copy of our school calendar – the final copies will be done at the printers to improve the quality. We are selling the calendars for £5. If you are interested, please fill in the order form on the back of this newsletter and return to Mrs. Taylor with the money. Thank you.

Japanese Visitors
18 Japanese visitors will be in school on Thursday looking round our school grounds and listening to a presentation of the eco-work we do in and around school.

Operation Christmas Child
Shoe boxes need to be in by Thursday 18 November at the latest.

Morrisons Vouchers
If you have any Morrisons vouchers, can you bring them into school as soon as possible as they have to be claimed by 30 November. Thank you.

Winter Fair
This year’s Winter Fair is on Friday 19 November. We are now collecting donations of books, toys, good as new, etc. so a good time to have a clear-out!!

Pint Pots
Please send your filled pint pots back into school. They can be filled with sweets, pens, crayons, pencils, hair accessories, small new toys, etc – we will be selling them at the fair.

Helpers
We would appreciate any help on the day – we will be setting up from 1.30pm.

Raffle Prizes
We would appreciate any donations towards our raffle. Thank you.

Halloween Bingo
Thank you so much for all your support – this event was really well attended and we had great fun. We raised £326 towards school funds 

Music Lessons
Please ensure your child brings their instruments into school each week.
Clarinet – Monday; Brass – Tuesday and Guitar – Friday.
Lessons are now £2.75 per week –paid either weekly or half-termly.

Dinner Money
Please send dinner money in an envelope with your child’s name and class on. Lunches are now £1.75 per day - £8.75 per week and should be paid on a Monday morning.
Non-payment of school meals is still a huge debt to school so please ensure meals are paid for either daily or weekly in advance in order for children to continue to receive school meals.

School Lunches
There is a copy of the menus on our school portal. Next week we are on Week 3.

fones4schools
We are starting our 3 campaign for fones4school. Your child will have received a leaflet. Your old phones need to be in school by Friday 3 December.

Donation
We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Co-Operative Retail who have just very generously donated £1,000 to school funds.
