Roadworks to take place on Pilsworth Road
Date published: 08 November 2010
Works are about to start to improve carriageway surfacing and the highway drainage system on Pilsworth Road.
Works will initially commence on 8 November 2010 for a period of 4 weeks to install of a new highway drainage on Pilsworth Road near to its junction with Moss Hall Road. These works will be carried out under temporary traffic signal control and some delays are anticipated.
Work will then recommence on 10 January 2011 for a period of 11 weeks to reconstruct the carriageway of Pilsworth Road to an approximate depth of 750mm. Due to the nature of these works a full road closure will be required, for which a diversion will be in operation.
Bury Council will endeavour to minimise any disruption but apologises for any inconvenience caused.
