Rochdale bonfire and firework display
Date published: 02 November 2010
Families braved the wet and windy weather this evening (Tuesday 2 November 2010) to attend a bonfire and firework display at Cronkeyshaw Common, off Whitworth road.
Mums, dads, children, grandparents and aunts and uncles gathered on the common to see the bonfire and the beautifully coloured fireworks fill the night sky.
Unlike previous years there wasn’t any fairground rides to keep the children entertained but that didn’t seem to matter as everyone had a smile on their face.
Glow sticks were the perfect accessory to match colourful wellingtons and umbrellas.
Youngster Ellie Harrison loved the bonfire and the firework display; she simply summed it up by saying “I think it is great!”
