Detectives hunting a man wanted after a motorist drove at revellers outside a Rochdale nightclub have released CCTV of the incident.

Fourteen people were taken to hospital by ambulance after a car mounted the pavement and drove at a large group of people outside Dali bar on Packer Street at about 2.10am on Sunday 17 October 2010.

All those who were treated at hospital were discharged within a few days.

Police are continuing to search for Lee Anthony Bradley, 26, who has links to the Rochdale, Manchester and Whitworth areas, who they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

He is white, 5ft 7in tall, of slim build with brown hair and has the tip of his ring finger on his right hand missing. He has a large distinctive tattoo on his right forearm.

Officers have searched more than 80 addresses since the incident and are warning anyone found to be helping or sheltering Bradley that they will also be arrested.

Detective Inspector Chris Walker, of Rochdale CID, said: "I want Bradley and anyone who knows where he might be to look at this CCTV footage and think long and hard about how serious this offence is.

"The footage clearly shows the driver of the car recklessly driving into a large group of people and without exaggeration it is fortunate no one was killed.

"We desperately need to speak to Bradley about this incident and will not rest until we find him. I also want to warn anyone foolish enough to help him that they will be dealt with severely.

"He cannot hide forever and it is in everyone's best interests that he hands himself in and talks to us sooner rather than later."

A 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been bailed until 15 November 2010 pending further inquiries.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 4644 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
