All in range £2.40 - £2.70 per pint. Condition of those sampled: good.

Food
Cheap and cheerful. Limited menu. Nothing to really grab the imagination. Not sampled.
Décor/Style Comfortable and attractive though not very inspiring. Music on in evenings. Bouncers on door evenings and can get packed.

Pub is in a superb location at the foot of the Church Steps and adjacent to the Town Hall, park slopes, etc. Ample pay-parking outside.

Customers huddled round doorway smoking can be intimidating.

Toilets
OK but a bit shabby.

Disabled Access 

Toilet not really accessible for wheelchair users. Disabled drivers have to pay on the municipal car park outside. £1 per two hours.

Worth a visit for a light bite and pint at lunch time. A good place to meet up. Perhaps not a place to visit in the evening unless you like them young, noisy, packed-out and raucous.
