Missing - Leslie Sweeney

Date published: 29 October 2010

Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a man who has not been seen since June.

Leslie Sweeney, 40, was last seen in the Langley area of Middleton at about 10pm on 11 June 2010. Leslie, who had been staying with a friend but was known to sleep rough, was last seen by his partner.

Since he has been missing, he has missed several important family occasions and his family are very concerned.

He is described as white, of a slim build, about 5ft 8in tall and with short brown greying hair and green eyes. He has several tattoos on his arms of the words Pink Floyd, Karl and Leah.

On the day he disappeared, he was wearing a black North Face jacket, blue jeans and black Rockport boots.

It is thought he may also have friends in the Wigan and Oxford areas.

Police are now appealing to anyone who knows of Leslie's whereabouts to come forward and either contact his family or police.

Anyone with information should call 0161 872 5050.
