Housing programme cut by £2.2m
Date published: 25 October 2010
The Housing Market Renewal (HMR) Programme in Rochdale will be cut by £2.153million.
The scheme which runs in conjunction with Oldham Council is now in its sixth year in Rochdale. The sum has been cut because of the national governments pledge to save £6billion.
Rochdale and Oldham’s original allocation for 2010-11 was £27.956m.
However the government is cutting £50M from the HMR Pathfinder programme which has seen a £4.411 cut to the Rochdale and Oldham figure. Leaving Rochdale’s allocation at £11.121m.
