As part of our contribution to ‘The Big Listen!’ which is focussing on enjoying and achieving, we are holding a talent celebration throughout the school culminating in a special ‘St Johns has got talent!’ assembly on Friday 12th November. More details nearer the time !
Parking and traffic issues
Parents and carers, please be aware of new parking restrictions in the area around school.
In relation to the new Metrolink construction work which is in progress, work is planned to commence on Monday 25th October so there will be no parking on Maclure Road after half term. The High level road will be permanently closed and Maclure Road will be closed off at the Station end. Children’s safety is of course paramount so please make use of the school crossing patrol where appropriate and make sure children are well supervised at all times.
Family Holidays
Thank you for only taking family holidays during school holiday time. No family holidays will be authorised during term time. If your child is off school at any time due to illness then please contact the school office first thing to let us know.
