We now have a group of parents following a computing course in school. If you would like to be a part of this, please speak to Louise Moore for details (01706 647761).

We have had some fantastic sports results recently, a taste of which can be seen below. Thank you very much to all our staff and pupils for the hours of extra commitment made to St Cuthbert’s community through sporting achievements. This week’s theme was The Ten Commandments and our Enterprise capability was Negotiating/Influencing.

We had a wonderful evening of song, movement and speech at our annual Primary Arts Festival on Tuesday. Congratulations to every child from all our feeder primary schools who took part and wowed us with their outstanding talent and enthusiasm.

Welcome back to our Year 8 pupils who spent three days in Lindisfarne, studying the local area and St Cuthbert’s history as well as taking part in group work activities and spiritual experiences.

We are very proud and pleased with how our Year 7 learners have managed the transition to high school. This week’s "You have to be in to win" Attendance Challenge winner is Brian Ncube, form 7.5. Well done Mr Lockett and form 7.5 with a weekly attendance of 99.6%. Year 7 welcomed the fire service into assembly with their presentation on firework safety. Homework club is open every lunch time in L5 with Mrs Whitmore and Mrs Rushton.

A reminder: Year 7 Parents Evening is Thursday 4th November - slips must be returned to your child’s form tutor please.

The facilities in our Partnership Learning Centre are available for parents and for any Parish Groups who wish to produce resources for church or develop their own learning.
