Many thank to all the pupils who attended our Scholastic Book Fair. It was another successful fair and the commission generated from the sales will certainly increase our libraries.

The Lower Prep has continued to follow the ‘Golden Grin’ scheme successfully for the last 3 years. However, some pupils are coming onto school with snacks that are not accepted through the scheme. Please could parents check that their child’s snacks are suitable for our scheme.

The Prep Dept took part in a ‘Mad Science’ assembly. The pupils were able to join in the exciting science experiments involving explosions and gravitational mysteries.

Congratulations go to Jack Noon who has been selected as goalkeeper for the ISA North of England under 16 soccer team.

Mr Hargreaves took five Year 7 and 8 pupils to the Rochdale cross country championships held at Falinge Park High school. The pupils produced some fantastic performances and a huge effort was produced by all pupils. Rebecca Whittaker finished fifth after an outstanding run in the tricky conditions.
