Cyclist in bus collision

A cyclist is in hospital after colliding with a bus in Heywood yesterday (23 September).
Police were called to the junction between Bury Old Road and Sutherland Road at 5:15pm, where they discovered the seriously-injured 34-year-old man.
He was taken to Fairfield Hospital before being transferred to Hope Hospital. His condition is described as ‘poorly’.
Witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the Road Policing Unit on 0161 856 8809.
