Long term road closure starts this weekend

Clover Hall Bridge/Albert Royds Street
Albert Royds Street (A664), between Halifax Road (A58) and Kingsway (A664), Rochdale will be closed to all vehicles from Sunday 15 August to Sunday 31 October to allow Clover Hall Railway Bridge to be replaced.
There will be diversion signs in place for an alternative route along Milnrow Road, Molesworth Street, John Street and Halifax Road.
There is expected to be a significant impact on traffic flows at peak periods.
A temporary footbridge will allow continuous pedestrian access.
