Squat toilets scrapped
Date published: 09 August 2010
Controversial plans to install squat toilets at the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre have been flushed.
Bosses at the centre wanted to convert two toilets last month after going on a cultural awareness course.
Rochdale Council put pressure on the centre’s parent company DB Estates to scrap the idea.
A spokesperson for the shopping centre said the Rochdale Exchange wouldn’t make any comment at this time.
