Travellers set up on Albert Royds Street
Date published: 07 August 2010
A group of travellers have set up on a piece of land at the junction of Albert Royds Street and Riverside Drive.
Residents in the area said that the convoy of seven caravans arrived on the site on Thursday (5 August 2010) evening.
Concerns have been raised by people living in houses close by about the mess that the travellers will leave behind.
A spokesperson for Rochdale Council was unavailable for comment at the time of publication.
