Appeal to find work colleagues of Rochdale woman
Date published: 23 July 2010
Police are appealing for the public's help to trace work colleagues of a late Rochdale woman.
Christine Margaret Lever, formerly of Dewhurst Road, Rochdale, died aged 60 in Fairfield Hospital on 31 July 2009.
It is understood that John Bright and Brothers Ltd employed Miss Lever between 1970 and 1971.
She also worked for the General Post Office as a telephonist/emergency operator between 1972 and 1975 in the Rochdale area.
The coroner would like to hear from any colleagues who worked with Miss Lever during these periods to ascertain whether or not they have been exposed to asbestos.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Simon Collier in the coroner's office on 0161 856 8097.
