Michael Holly re-appointed with Pennine Acute

Councillor Michael Holly from the Rochdale has been re-appointed by the Appointments Commission as Non-executive Director of The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust for a further four years.
The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust runs Rochdale Infirmary.
Mr Holly was appointed as a Non-executive Director in 2006.
His new Term of Office at the Trust starts on 1 October 2010 and runs to 30 September 2014. He will receive a remuneration of £6,096 per annum which is the current rate of remuneration for non-executives of NHS Trusts.
Mr Holly is one of six local Non-executive Directors who sit on the Board of The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust which meets monthly. He is currently Chair of the Audit Committee of the Trust.
John Jesky, Chairman of The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, said:
“On behalf of the Board I am delighted to welcome Michael as a Non-executive Director of the Trust for a further four years. His wealth of experience in auditing and commitment to the Trust, particularly as Chair of the Trust’s Audit Committee, has been invaluable and will further prove an excellent asset to our non-executive team.
Commenting on his re-appointment, Mr Holly said: “I am delighted to have been re-appointed as a Non-executive Director of the Trust.
“During my time on the Trust Board I have seen some real improvements to services, particularly in relation to investment in new equipment and recent capital projects. I have thoroughly enjoyed my first term of office and believe that I have brought some new skills to the Board in my role. I look forward to the next four years which will be challenging time for the Trust, and to play a part in its aspiration to become a Foundation Trust.”
The re-appointment of Mr Holly has been made in accordance with the Commissioner for Public Appointments Code of Practice.
