Student gets a job at college

Thomas Scholes
A Rochdale student who studied a cookery course at Hopwood Hall College now works in the college’s bistro.
Thomas Scholes, a former Cardinal Langley pupil began his college life studying one day a week for an NVQ in Food Preparation and Cooking.
Following his course he enrolled as a full time student. He successfully completed a NVQ Level 2 qualification and then progressed onto a NVQ Level 3 professional cookery course.
While on the advanced course, Mr Scholes regularly supported the College’s tutors in a supervisory capacity, which he enjoyed immensely.
Shortly afterward Mr Scholes finished his course a position came available at Hopwood Hall’s bistro which is student operated.
Mr Scholes is now happily employed by the college in the popular bistro in the Rochdale campus.
