The family of Anthony Marsh have paid tribute to him.
The 56-year-old's body was found at his home on Curzon Road in Kirkholt on the evening of Monday 12 June 2006.
A post mortem examination revealed that Anthony, a former salesman, died as a result of multiple injuries.
He leaves his 14-year-old daughter, his sister Julie, and his parents Maureen and Peter Marsh.
Maureen and Peter today paid tribute to their son: "Tony was a very sociable person who was popular and likeable and made friends very easily.
"He was well thought of by his family, friends and ex-work colleagues and would do anything for anyone. We are totally devastated by his loss."
