Healey Primary School
I am writing to inform parents that unfortunately Rochdale’s Council Cabinet has agreed to an increase in the charge of the standard school meal for pupils by 5p from £1.70 to £1.75 with effect from 1st September 2010.
Rochdale Council believes that there should be a standard price for meals across the Borough and all schools have been asked to adhere to the price.
Therefore the price of school meals per week is now £8.75 (payable on Monday mornings in a separate sealed envelope). The school has in stock a pack of dinner money envelopes for only £1.
If you prefer to pay in advance for your child’s school meals - the price per child is as follows:
- 4 Weeks (20 x £1.75) £35.00
- Autumn half-term: (35 x £1.75) £61.25
- Autumn term: (73 x £1.75) £127.75
