St Edwards C of E Primary School
Cookery Club Cookery Club has now finished. Children will need to reapply when we come back in September.
Out-of-School Club Please ensure all fees are up-to-date before we finish next week in order to secure your place for September. Thank you.
Swimming Team
Well done to our Year 5/6 swimming team who came 2nd overall in the inter-league galas.
Text Messaging Service
We will be continuing with our text messaging service. In some cases we will be sending text messages to parents rather than sending letters so it is extremely important that you ensure you keep school up-to-date with any change in mobile phone numbers.
Cheques If you are sending cheques into school, please make them payable to St. Edward’s School and not RMBC. Thank you.
School Meals
From September children are going back to choosing meals on a daily basis from the kitchen hatch. We still need to know who requires a school lunch so please send the slip back by this Friday, even if your child is having sandwiches from home. If you haven’t got a slip, please get one from the office. These choices will be made for a full half term and the menus will be on a 4 weekly basis.
We will be putting a copy of the new menus in the foyer window and display cabinets and also on the school portal.
Increase in School Meals
From September school meals will be £1.75 per day - £8.75 per week. Dinner money should be sent in on a Monday morning in an envelope with your child’s name and class on. Thank you.
School Meals
Next week we are on Week 1.
Music Lessons
Fees for this half term are £16.20. Please also pay any outstanding fees as soon as possible. These fees need to be paid in order for children to continue with their lessons. Thank you.
Building Works
We apologise for any inconvenience during our building works.
PTA/Friends of St. Edwards
We would like to say a big Thank You to our PTA who have worked really hard to organise and run events throughout the year and helped to raise at least £1600 which all goes back into school funds for the benefit of all children. If anyone would like to get involved in the PTA or help in school in any way, please let the office know.
