A Level results day is Thursday 19 August and GCSE results day is Tuesday 24 August. Exam results will be available from 10.00am at the school.
We are delighted to announce that our Year 8 cricket team are now the champions of Rochdale. They played Siddall Moor in the final. Oulder Hill batted first, scoring 129 runs, with man of the match Sam Fitton, scoring 56. Siddall Moor scored 60. A huge well done to the following students, not only for winning but for trying so hard throughout the year and being a credit to themselves and the school. The team in full was Abnaan Ali, Hayat Al-Bahadar, Muteen Saeed, Sam Fitton, Daniel Buckley, Adam Ahmed, James Schofield, Abdul Shahid, Hamza Khalil, Oliver Greenwood, Hamza Mughal and Haider Rashid.
Recently the Art department took 45 Year 10 students to Manchester Metropolitan University to see the final degree art shows and exhibitions. The students described the day as ‘inspiring’ and ‘exciting’ as the work they saw was fantastic. It covered fashion, fine art, 3D, video and photography. The work seen will help students with their own final responses and use of media.
