Healey Primary School

This week sees the end of the term and the school year. Things continue to be busy though. We need to be sure that all cloakrooms etc are cleared by early next week. There will be painting going on during the holiday so every area needs to be cleared.

Please could parents also check that all outstanding bills are paid; music, dinners and after school clubs. This helps us enormously to tie up loose ends and balance our accounts.

Year 4 are going to Manchester United on Tuesday, the coach has been booked to leave Old Trafford at 2.30pm, but traffic could be heavy so children may be late back.

Also on Tuesday (20 July) the Reception Class are having a PIRATE DRESSING UP DAY. Avast yer scallywags!! Shiver me timbers!!!

The Year 5 and 6 Evening Performance is also on Tuesday, starting at 6.30pm. There is no charge for tickets, but a collection will be taken at the end of the performance.

Well done to the children who were presented with the last Achievement Award for this academic year.

Reception: Amy McHale and Ben Williams
Year 1: Kayleigh Mills
Year 2: Emily Goodwin
Year 3: Bethany Richards
Year 4: Bethany Stead
Year 5: Alex Baron
Year 6: Jack Round and Ryan Hardman

Year 2 also achieved 100% attendance.

The Viking Day was a huge success, and we are grateful to all parents for joining in the spirit of the occasion and creating some amazing costumes. The day was full of fun Viking Activities.

This is a time to say thank you once again for the help and support from parents throughout the academic year. School closes on Wednesday 21st July and re-opens for children on Monday 6th September. All children should have brought home a letter from Ofsted which recognises the continued good work of the school. Have a happy, enjoyable and safe holiday.
