Deeplish Primary School.
It was the turn of our Year 2 children to go on their school trip this week. They visited St Anne’s and, like the Year 1 children the previous week, had a lovely time playing games on the beach and going on a train ride.
Mrs Isherwood’s class had their turn this week trying out canoeing and sailing at Hollingworth Lake. They had a great time and even the teachers had a sail!
It was parents evenings this week for all the key stages and were, as usual, well attended. As well as learning about the progress their children had made, parents were introduced to the new Home/School Agreement document and the updated Attendance Policy both of which have been agreed by the school’s governing body. Thank you to all parents who signed the Home/School Agreement. This is just another example of how the Deeplish School community works together for the benefit of the children.

This was accompanied by a mixed berry ice-cream smoothie. All the guests declared it was a tasty meal and thanked the club for inviting them. Thanks also to Miss Bates and Mrs Davis for their help.
