BIKE-IT – Thursdays!
Don’t forget Bike-It Thursdays. Anyone coming to school on their bike will be given a free raffle ticket to go in the draw for a new bike at the end of the year. Those children who come on their bikes on a Thursday can have a free breakfast as long as they are in no later than 8.30am.
If they come on their bike any other day they will be given a raffle ticket but free breakfasts will only be given on a Thursday.
Swimming Team Mrs. Taylor is very proud of all the children and would like to thank them all for their commitment in getting up early to do their training.
Our last gala in the league is on Monday – good luck to everyone.
Eco-Work
We have had visits from children and staff from Chorlton Park School and also from a school in Flixton to have a look at our fantastic eco-work.
School Meals
From September children are going back to choosing meals on a daily basis from the kitchen hatch. We still need to know who requires a school lunch so please fill in the slip overleaf if you haven’t already done so, even if your child is having sandwiches from home. These choices will be made on a half termly basis.
In the next few weeks there will be a copy of the new menus in the foyer window and display cabinets and also on the school portal.
School Meals
Next week we are on Week 3.
Dinner Money
Please send dinner money in on a Monday morning in an envelope with your child’s name and class on. Lunches are £1.70 per day - £8.50 per week. Thank you.
Music Lessons Fees for this half term are £16.20. Please also pay any outstanding fees as soon as possible. These fees need to be paid in order for children to continue with their lessons. Thank you.
Text Messaging Service
You will have noticed we have started a text messaging service in school. We are trialling this for a month to inform parents of events, etc. To help us manage this and make the service successful, please ensure that you keep school up-to-date with any change in mobile phone numbers.
