Three fires across the borough

Three fires have happened in locations across the borough today (Sunday 5 July 2010).
None of the incidents listed are connected.
The first incident happened in Blackley, Middleton at 9.07am. The fire service was called to a third floor flat on Leegrange Road, Blackley.
The fire involved a chip pan on an electric cooker. Damage was caused to the kitchen of the property.
The second fire was at a derelict school building in Heywood at the junction of Bamford Road and West Starky Street.
Fire fighters were called at around 1.15pm. Fire engines from Heywood, Bury and Oldham attended the fire on the ground floor of the derelict building.
The third fire happened at Wellfield place, Lower Place, Rochdale. The fire service was called at 3.12pm to a fire involving a garden shed and trees.
